Former Inter midfielder Evaristo Beccalossi believes Inter’s real objective for the season is to win the Serie A title for the first time since 2010.
Speaking to Italian TV show Tika Taka, the former Nerazzuri striker shared his thoughts on the situation that Inter would find themselves in if they were to be eliminated from the TIM Cup this evening by rivals Juventus.
“What crisis if they go out? The main real objective is the Serie A title.”
Off the field Inter face problems regarding the owners of the club, Suning, who are said to be in a spot of financial difficulty and are looking for either investors or a buy for the club.
Beccalossi touched on the off field issues his former club are facing at the moment.
“The situation is not the best but Suning are trying to resolve the problems, they will find the best solution to resolve it.”
The two time Coppa Italia winner added: “After the August meeting the project stopped, but the team remain competitive.
“The important thing is that certain things are not said about the owners, as when we talk about books in court, they will find the right solution.”
Despite Inter’s impressive form on the pitch, the talking point surrounding the club remains the financial difficulty owner’s Suning face due to the pandemic.
A solution is expected within the next couple of weeks so that Inter can carry on building upon the improvement and success of the last few seasons.
