Former Inter and Lazio striker Ruben Sosa compares his relationship with the fans of two of his former clubs ahead of their clash this evening.

Speaking to today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport, Sosa explained the different relationships he had with Inter fans and the Lazio fans.

When they ask me about career trophies, I always answer that the most beautiful is the love of the Lazio fans.

“Even today they sing my name at the stadium, it’s a pride for me. They are unique, they experience the relationship with the team in a very strong way.

“In Milan these things did not happen” explained Sosa.

Ruben Sosa signed for Inter after leaving Lazio before leaving Italy for Germany in 1995 signing for Borussia Dortmund.

The Uruguayan’s two former clubs will face off this evening in a huge Serie A clash with much riding on it for both clubs.

Inter could go to the top of the league with a victory while Lazio could enter the top four which would be a huge step in their quest for another season of Champions League football.

Both team carry good league form into the tie and will be hoping to take all three points when the whistle blows in San Siro this evening.
