Francesco Colonnese has taken to Instagram to share his thoughts on the Inter squad ahead of this weekend’s Milan derby with AC Milan.
Inter head into the match sitting at the top of the Serie A table and have a one-point advantage over the Rossoneri.
Colonnese has pointed out what he believes is the ideal system for Inter and also sang the praises of several Nerazzurri players.
He posted: “3-5-2 is the ideal system for the players chosen by Antonio Conte.
“Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku represent the first point of strength, with 27 goals out of 54 having come from this fantastic partnership.
“Achraf Hakimi’s speed on the right wing, Nicolo Barella’s dynamism in midfield and the physicality of the three defenders will be fundamental.
“The countdown has officially begun.”
