Inter striker Lautaro Martinez is hoping to light up tomorrow’s derby against AC Milan and impress against their intercity rivals, Italian media highlight.

According to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, the 23-year-old Argentine forward, who is contracted to the Milanese club until 2023, has not scored against the Rossoneri since their 3-2 win in March 2019, where he converted a penalty.

He has played two more times against the Rossoneri as a starter, achieving a win and a draw, plus a third as a substitute in last month’s Coppa Italia win.

In the past two seasons, Belgian forward Romelu Lukaku has been the driving force for Inter in the derby, scoring in all four matches against AC Milan.

After hitting the back of the net against Lazio last week, Lautaro is now hoping to impress in tomorrow’s Milanese derby and finally score again against their intercity opponents.
