Former Inter goalkeeper Walter Zenga paid tribute former defender Mauro Bellugi, who sadly passed away yesterday at the age of 71, in a post on his Instagram page.
Bellugi, who had his legs amputated in December of last year after complications stemming from his battle with Covid-19, made 136 appearances across all competitions for Inter across a five-year period.
In that time, he won a Scudetto with the Nerazzurri, before moving to Bologna, where he spent five more years and won a Coppa Italia.
Zenga paid tribute to Bellugi in a post on Instagram, saying: “No Mauro no… RIP.”
