Matteo Darmian is expected to replace the suspended Achraf Hakimi for Inter’s match at home to Genoa on Sunday, according to an Italian media report.

Hakimi will serve a one-match ban against the Rossoblu after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season against AC Milan, and as per Tuttosport’s print edition, Darmian is the man most likely to replace him in Antonio Conte’s starting XI.

Conte’s team will otherwise be unchanged for the match at San Siro against Davide Ballardini’s side.

Inter will be looking to extend their lead at the top of the Serie A table, having pulled four points clear of AC Milan with victory in Sunday’s derby.

As for next Thursday’s match away to Parma, Conte could make two or three changes, with Atalanta coming to San Siro four days later.

Arturo Vidal, Alexis Sanchez and Ashley Young could all possibly come in for the match at the Stadio Ennio Tardini.
