Inter are one of three clubs vying to sign Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum, according to a Spanish media report today.
As per Mundo Deportivo, Wijnaldum does not appear to have plans to extend his contract with the reigning Premier League champions, which is due to expire at the end of this season, even if there have been talks over a new deal.
Barcelona have been courting the Dutch national team representative for some time but as per this report, Inter as and Paris Saint-Germain are also keen on securing Wijnaldum, who looks set to be available on a free transfer in the summer.
MD said Wijnaldum would only stand to benefit from the battle to acquire his services, meaning he can secure the best possible contract for himself.
The 30-year-old has made 35 appearances in all competitions for Liverpool this season, in which he has scored three goals.
Wijnaldum has played 221 times for Jurgen Klopp’s side since joining the Reds from Newcastle in 2016.
