Romelu Lukaku made his senior international debut for Belgium 11 years ago on Wednesday.
The Inter striker was just 16 when Dick Advocaat started him in a friendly match at home to Croatia on March 3 2010, which Belgium lost 1-0.
Lukaku had a couple of chances to mark his debut with a goal before being substituted after 77 minutes, but was denied by Croatia keeper Vedran Runje.
Belgium celebrated the anniversary by posting highlights of Lukaku’s performance on Twitter, adding: “11 years, 89 caps and 57 goals since Romelu Lukaku’s debut!”
