Arturo Vidal could take the place of Christian Eriksen in Inter’s starting line-up for tonight’s match at home to Atalanta, according to an Italian media report today.

Tonight’s match at San Siro is a very delicate one and a crash test for Inter in their Serie A title chase and as per Gazzetta dello Sport’s print edition, Antonio Conte is considering making one change to the starting line-up.

Vidal could come in in place of the revitalised Eriksen, who appeared tired in Inter’s match versus Parma this past Thursday and would give the team a boost considering the number of league titles that he has won throughout his career.

Inter currently sit top of the Serie A with 59 points after 25 games played and have a three-point advantage over second placed AC Milan, who have played a game more.

Inter could return to being six points clear with a win over Gian Piero Gasperini’s Atalanta tonight.
