Inter’s upcoming rebrand will take place next month, according to an Italian newspaper report today.
As per Gazzetta dello Sport’s print edition, Inter’s ‘Inter Milano’ rebrand will be launched in the second week of April, the week in which Inter will take on Cagliari at San Siro.
As part of this rebrand, the club will adopt a new logo and recent leaks were confirmed when Inter filed a trademark application.
The logo is a minimalist approach compared to the current logo and sees the letters ‘I’ and ‘M’ in white which signify ‘Inter Milano’, encased in a blue circle with a thigh black outline.
There were fears when the rebrand was leaked that Inter would be changing their name to ‘Inter Milano’ but this is not the case, because Alessandro Antonello confirmed swiftly that the club’s official name, FC Internazionale Milano, would remain in place.
A new merchandise range is expected to be launched alongside the new logo, and there have already been some leaks of items from this collection.
