Alessandro Bastoni already plays as if he were a veteran despite only being a few years in to his senior career, according to a member of the Inter defender’s entourage.
Bastoni has further cemented himself as one of the best young defenders out in Europe with his performances this season, impressing again during the Nerazzurri’s 1-0 win over Atalanta on Monday.
Fausto Pari, one of the 21-year-old’s representatives at TMP Soccer, is certainly not surprised to see Bastoni doing as well as he is at the moment.
“You could see from a young age that he was destined to do well,” Pari explained in an interview with Italian radio station Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli today.
“Bastoni is a left-footer with extraordinary qualities.
“Against Real Madrid, in Madrid, even if it was without fans, he played like a veteran.”
Bastoni joined Inter from Atalanta back in 2017 and at the time Inter were criticised for paying upwards of €30 million for him.
His performances in a Nerazzurri shirt have made it seem a bargain though, with one report today arguing Bastoni was now worth €50 million for Inter.
Bastoni has made 31 appearances across all competitions this season, during which time he has provided four assists for his teammates.
