Inter’s back three of Milan Skriniar, Stefan de Vrij and Alessandro Bastoni have a combined value of more than €150 million, according to an Italian media report today.
As per Corriere della Sera’s print edition, De Vrij is the highest valued of the defensive trio with him having a value of no less than €55 million.
Skriniar and Bastoni are both meanwhile valued at €50 million giving the trio, who have formed a near impenetrable defence, a combined total value of €155 million.
The report did not suggest Inter had any intention of cashing in on any of them, though, as you would expect.
Inter’s defence has been rock solid as of late and has been a big factor in the Nerazzurri picking up 25 points from the last 27 available to them.
In fact, during this time, Antonio Conte’s side have managed to keep seven clean sheets and concede just two goals, one of which took a huge deflection in their 3-1 win over Lazio.
Skriniar, De Vrij and Bastoni are playing a big part in Inter’s recent success and as a result they are growing as players whilst their transfer values rise too.
