Inter’s Christian Eriksen In Doubt For Torino Game With ‘Slight’ Knee Problem, Italian Broadcaster Reports

Christian Eriksen is in doubt for Inter’s match at Torino on Sunday with a knee problem, according to a leading Italian broadcaster this afternoon.

As per Sky Sport Italia, the Danish national team midfielder is suffering from a slight inflammation in his left knee and this caused him to have to work separately to his teammates in training this morning.

Eriksen, who has turned things around for himself at Inter lately, will have his condition reassessed by club medical staff tomorrow ahead of the game on Sunday afternoon at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.

This news will no doubt be of concern Inter coach Antonio Conte as he will definitely be without Arturo Vidal, who underwent knee surgery this morning which will keep him out for the next three to four weeks.

Eriksen has been widely tipped to start for Inter by media outlets ahead of the game and it now remains to be seen whether he will be able to recover for the game in Turin.
