Inter have learned Chelsea’s asking price for Emerson Palmieri, according to a recent Spanish media report.
As per Fichajes.net, the Nerazzurri and Napoli are both interested in signing the Brazilian born Italian international and the Premier League side want £17 million for his services.
Emerson is barely playing at the moment and Chelsea would like to offload a player who is of little use to them and thankfully for them there are multiple suitors for the 26-year-old.
The report goes on to explain that Emerson would be a wonderful signing for Inter, thanks to his attacking efficiency and defensive reliability, two things that could enable him to take over the left wing-back spot in Antonio Conte’s team.
Napoli are meanwhile thinking of signing him to bolster their full-back department, which is the weakest department of the team.
This season Emerson has been limited to 11 appearances across all competitions to date and has failed to make any goal contributions when on the pitch.
Inter’s interest in Emerson was also confirmed by a report from Calciomercato.com today.
