Shakhtar Donetsk goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin has downplayed speculation today linking him with a move to Inter.
The 19-year-old impressed during Shakhtar’s two games against the Nerazzurri during the UEFA Champions League group stage, helping Luis Castro’s side secure 0-0 draws on both occasions.
Back in January, Trubin’s agent Yuriy Danchenko refused to deny Inter had made an approach for the keeper.
But speaking to TuttoMercatoWeb ahead of Shakhtar’s UEFA Europa League last 16 second leg against Roma tomorrow, Trubin said: “I think Inter and AC Milan’s interest in me is just rumours.
“As far as I’m concerned, I’m fully concentrated on my performances with Shakhtar.
“I’m training and working hard every day to improve and develop.
“I don’t have time to think about transfer rumours.”
Trubin is a product of Shakhtar’s youth academy and has a contract with the Ukrainian Premier League side through to the end of the 2023-24 season.
After making a few appearances last season he is enjoying a breakthrough campaign under Luis Castro, having featured 21 times in all competitions for Shakhtar this season, keeping 11 clean sheets.
Inter’s goalless draws with Shakhtar ultimately proved fatal to their European campaign this season, with Antonio Conte’s side finishing bottom of their group before Christmas.
