Christian Eriksen’s transfer value has rocketed upwards thanks to his recent revival at Inter, according to an Italian media report today.
Eriksen seemed certain to leave the Nerazzurri in January with Arsenal and Leicester City both making approaches for the midfielder.
As highlighted by Tuttosport’s print edition, though, the 29-year-old has transformed his career at Inter and is now a regular starter in Antonio Conte’s midfield ahead of Arturo Vidal.
If Inter still wanted to, it would no longer be so difficult to offload the Denmark international for €30 million, with Eriksen now in fact valued somewhere in the region of €35-40 million.
Inter paid little over €20 million to sign the now 29-year-old in January 2020 from Tottenham Hotspur and his first year with the club was a very difficult one, with Eriksen unable to meet supporters’ expectations on a consistent basis.
Eriksen has now been given a new role in the team though and has not looked back, with Inter looking like a completely different team when he is playing in midfield.
