Inter celebrated Saint Patrick’s Day on Friday by sending their wishes to the only two Irishmen ever to represent the Nerazzurri.
Robbie Keane made just 14 appearances in a six-month stint during the 2000-01 season, scoring three goals before returning to the Premier League with Leeds United.
Liam Brady fared a little better by spending two years at Inter, after joining from Juventus in 1984 (where he won two Serie A titles), scoring five goals in 58 appearances.
Inter tweeted: “Only three Irishmen have ever featured in Serie A, two of whom played for Inter.
“Much love for Liam Brady and Robbie Keane!”
