Manchester United remain interested in signing Fiorentina defender and rumoured Inter target Nikola Milenkovic, according to a Spanish media report today.
As per TodoFichajes.com, the Red Devils will bid farewell to both Eric Bailly and Phil Jones at the end of the season and the club are working on filling the spaces that the pair will leave.
Serbian national team centre-back Milenkovic is one of a number of players on the Premier League clubs radar but they are not the only club in for him.
Several other media reports have in fact linked both Inter and AC Milan with moving for the 23-year-old.
Milenkovic’s contract with Fiorentina is due to expire at the end of next season and if he does not agree to a new deal, he will leave the club in the summer.
Fiorentina, who Milenkovic has played for since 2017, value the defender at no less than €40 million.
Milenkovic has scored three goals and provided one assist in 28 appearances across all competitions to date this season.
