Romelu Lukaku is on Barcelona’s transfer list ahead of the summer window, according to a report in the Spanish media.
Mundo Deportivo said Ronald Koeman had identified the Inter striker and Borussia Dortmund sensation Erling Haaland as the club’s two options in attack.
Lukaku is thought to be the more realistic target for the La Liga giants, although they are not giving up on the idea of signing Haaland either.
Barca were strongly interested in a deal for Lukaku’s strike partner Lautaro Martinez last summer, but now it seems Koeman has changed plan and targeted the Belgian instead.
Lukaku is an untouchable figure for Inter after scoring 42 goals in 62 league games so far, since joining from Manchester United in 2019.
The 27-year-old scored his 58th goal for Belgium in last night’s 3-1 win over Wales in their first 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
A report in Gazzetta dello Sport today said Lukaku was in ‘fantastic shape’ ahead of Inter’s Serie A title run-in.
