The agent of Inter midfielder Arturo Vidal confirmed that his client had drawn interest from elsewhere but he was entirely focused on helping the Nerazzurri seal the Scudetto.

Vidal joined Inter from Barcelona last summer and has helped Antonio Conte’s side open up a six point gap at the top of Serie A with a game in hand, as they seek a first league title since 2010.

The Chilean’s agent, Fernando Felicevich, revealed that his client had received offers from other clubs, amidst reported interest from Marseille and Flamengo, but that he was happy in Italy.

“It is normal for a player at the level of Arturo to receive proposals, but nothing has changed for us,” Felicevich claimed in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“His future is at Inter and he is only thinking about winning the Scudetto in May and trying to win the Champions League next season.

“He is very happy and gets along well with everyone and there has never been any problems with anyone.”

Vidal is currently out injured following minor knee surgery earlier this month, but his representative confirmed that he was on course for recovery and was not far from making a return to action.

“His recovery programme is almost finished and he will soon be able to return to the pitch and add his contribution to the final stages of the season,” Felicevich added.

Vidal has scored two goals in 30 appearances in all competitions for Inter this season, with his most recent outing coming in the 1-0 win over Atalanta on 8 March.
