Inter need to pay particular attention to the contract situations of three key players, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Corriere dello Sport’s print edition pointed out that Samir Handanovic, Marcelo Brozovic and Ivan Perisic are all on deals which expire at the end of next season.

Inter have until February to agree new deals with the trio, at which point they would be free to sign on with other clubs ahead of the 2022-23 season.

Handanovic, Brozovic and Perisic are all key figures in Antonio Conte’s starting XI as Inter chase down their first Serie A title since 2010.

Inter also have five players who are out of contract this summer, the Rome-based publication explained: Daniele Padelli, Andrea Ranocchia, Aleksandar Kolarov, Danilo D’Ambrosio and Ashley Young.

D’Ambrosio could have his deal renewed for another season if Inter choose to exercise the option in his contract, an option the Nerazzurri also have for Kolarov.
