Inter are in no mood to consider selling Romelu Lukaku to Barcelona at the moment, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As per FcInter1908.it, Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo reported today that Lukaku had been ‘offered’ to Barca, who were considering the Belgian as an alternative to Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland.

Lukaku has not under any circumstances been offered to the La Liga giants though, with FCIN1908 dismissing the story as ‘fake news’.

Inter are fully focused on winning the Serie A title and have no intention of opening talks to sell their star striker anywhere, be it to Barcelona or another club.

Barcelona are definitely interested in a deal to sign Lukaku, the report confirmed, with Ronald Koeman – who coached him at Everton – and the Blaugrana’s directors both thought to be admirers.

However, the Catalan press have jumped the gun by suggesting the 27-year-old was offered to them because Inter have not offered Lukaku anywhere, and nor has Lukaku gone looking for a move elsewhere.
