Christian Eriksen is expected to regain his place in the Inter starting XI for tomorrow’s Serie A fixture at Bologna, according to an Italian media report.
Gazzetta dello Sport’s print edition said Antonio Conte’s only remaining doubt was whether to pick the Dane or Roberto Gagliardini in midfield.
Eriksen remains favourite to get the nod for the moment, which would be one of two changes from Inter’s last league game at Torino three weeks ago.
Andrea Ranocchia will come in at centre-back, despite Stefan de Vrij testing negative for COVID-19 yesterday.
De Vrij is expected to return to training with his Inter teammates at Appiano Gentile today, but the Dutch defender will not start at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara after such little preparation time.
