Inter are preparing to tie down three defenders to new contracts, according to a report in the Italian media today.
Gazzetta dello Sport‘s online edition said Stefan de Vrij, Alessandro Bastoni and Danilo D’Ambrosio were all set to sign new deals with the Nerazzurri.
Andrea Ranocchia is out of contract in the summer, but unlike D’Ambrosio he is not certain to remain at Inter.
The Italian centre-back will be allowed to decide his own future, with Inter pledging to support Ranocchia with whatever decision he takes.
Elsewhere in defence, the Milan-based publication said there was zero doubt over Milan Skriniar staying at the club beyond this season.
Matteo Darmian will also remain after Inter made his loan move from Parma permanent in January.
Aleksandar Kolarov is out of contract at the end of this season and the Serbian is unlikely to sign a renewal, meaning he will be leaving after just one unsuccessful campaign in Milan.
