Inter will be keeping a close eye on Sassuolo forward Giacomo Raspadori tonight, as explained by a report in the Italian media.

Calciomercato.com said the 21-year-old was an option that appealed to the Nerazzurri as they seek a new fourth-choice striker.

Inter are on great terms with Raspadori’s agent Tulio Tinti, who also manages Andrea Ranocchia, Alessandro Bastoni and Matteo Darmian, which could help the Nerazzurri.

Sassuolo will not be an easy club to convince, however, with the report suggesting they did not have any intention of selling Raspadori – who is under contract until 2024 – in the near future.

In the meantime, Raspadori will get the chance to impress Inter when Roberto De Zerbi’s side visit San Siro for this evening’s rearranged fixture in Serie A.

The striker recently admitted he was an Inter supporter as a child and had a crazy passion for Samuel Eto’o during the Nerazzurri’s treble season, when Raspadori was only 10 years old.

Raspadori had the chance to join ‘his’ club aged 14 when he had offers from Inter, AC Milan and Roma, but he decided to continue his development at Sassuolo.

He was captain for the Neroverdi during Saturday’s 2-2 draw against Roma and wants to continue his ‘magic moment’ against Antonio Conte’s side.
