Inter set a new club record for lowest possession during Wednesday’s 2-1 win over Sassuolo.
Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez scored a goal in either half as Antonio Conte’s side pulled 11 points clear at the top of Serie A.
Hamed Traore scored late on for the visitors but the Nerazzurri were not to be denied a tenth straight league win.
Despite this, Inter recorded just 30% possession against the Neroverdi at San Siro, the lowest on record since stats company Opta began collecting such data in 2004.
30% – Inter have recorded against Sassuolo their lowest possession rate in a single Serie A match since Opta started to collect this data (since 2004/05): 30%. Apnoea.#InterSassuolo #SerieA
