Stefano Sensi has encouraged his Inter teammates to keep their feet on the ground after Wednesday’s 2-1 win over Sassuolo.

Antonio Conte’s side went 11 points clear at the top of Serie A after goals in either half from Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez.

Sensi made his long-awaited return to action for Inter at San Siro, replacing Christian Eriksen for the final half-hour.

The 25-year-old was not getting away after the Nerazzurri’s tenth straight league win though, writing on Instagram: “There’s still a long way to go.

“Let’s keep it up with this spirit.”
