Udinese Director Pierpaolo Marino: “Many Clubs Want Inter Linked Juan Musso, Bidding War Possible”

Inter will have to beat off competition from several top clubs in order to sign Juan Musso, according to Udinese’s technical director Pierpaolo Marino.

Musso is one of the many goalkeepers being linked with the Nerazzurri on a regular basis as they seek a long-term replacement for Samir Handanovic.

Roma are thought to be interested in a deal for the 26-year-old, but it seems Musso has many admirers ahead of the summer transfer window.

“Lots of clubs are interested in Musso,” Marino told L’Eco di Bergamo today.

“It could be that a bidding war ensues for him.

“It seems a lot of goalkeepers will be changing clubs in the summer transfer window, let’s see what happens.

“We’re not thinking about it for now though.”

Musso has made 28 appearances in all competitions for Udinese this season, keeping eight clean sheets.

The former Racing Club goalkeeper produced an impressive performance when Luca Gotti’s side held Inter to a goalless draw back in January, with one particularly fine save to deny Lautaro Martinez.

Inter have won 10 straight games in Serie A since dropping points at the Dacia Arena and are now 11 points clear at the top of the table.
