With his contract due to expire at the end of the season, full-back Danilo D’Ambrosio has received several proposals but is keen to extend his deal with Inter.

The former Torino defender has not been offered a new contract yet and will become a free agent in the summer, but is holding out for a chance to remain with the Nerazzurri, according to FCInter1908.it.

Should Inter opt against offering him a new contract, D’Ambrosio has received approaches from four other clubs in Serie A, but contrary to suggestions in recent days, has not been in discussions with AC Milan.

The Italian international’s passion for Inter and desire to stay with the Nerazzurri would rule out any move across the city, whilst he will wait for as long as possible for Inter before entering into any advanced negotiations with any other club.

D’Ambrosio joined Inter from Torino in January 2014 and has gone on to score 20 goals in 228 appearances for the club.
