Lautaro Martinez set a new personal goal record by scoring in Inter’s 2-1 win over Sassuolo.
El Toro doubled the Nerazzurri’s lead midway through the second half at San Siro, picking out the bottom corner after being served by Romelu Lukaku on the counterattack.
As highlighted by Inter on Instagram, Lautaro has now scored 15 goals in Serie A for the Nerazzurri this season, beating his previously tally of 14 from last year.
The 23-year-old will hope to increase his goal haul when Antonio Conte’s side host Cagliari tomorrow – although Lautaro could drop to the bench with Alexis Sanchez given a rare start.
