Inter’s squad is now worth a fortune thanks to Antonio Conte, according to an Italian media report today.

Gazzetta dello Sport’s print edition said Conte’s hard work had ensured the Nerazzurri’s key players were now worth significantly more than when he first joined the club.

Romelu Lukaku is the most obvious example of Conte’s work at Inter, with the Belgian now thought to be worth more than €100 million.

Lautaro Martinez has also improved exponentially under the former Juventus boss though, with El Toro being valued ‘at least’ €70 million by the Milan-based paper.

Elsewhere, Achraf Hakimi is now worth ‘a lot more’ than the €40 million Inter paid to sign him from Real Madrid last summer, while Nicolo Barella has seen his valuation shoot upwards after another exceptional season.

Alessandro Bastoni cost Inter a total €31 million from Atalanta and the defender is now worth at least double that, having impressed again during Sunday’s win over Cagliari.

Christian Eriksen is the only player whose value threatened to drop under Conte this season, the report suggested, but now even he is showing his best form again.

The Dane struggled to find his place in the Inter midfield at first, but Conte is finally getting the best out of him too.
