Inter coach Antonio Conte is set to recall some of his most utilised players for this evening’s Serie A match against Napoli, including Achraf Hakimi and Lautaro Martinez.
The Nerazzurri travel to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona to face the Partenopei and are seeking a 12th consecutive win, having edged past Cagliari 1-0 last time out.
As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Corriere dello Sport, Conte rested some of his key men against the Sardinians but will recall them for the Napoli clash, with Hakimi set to regain his position at right wing-back.
Striker Martinez will partner Romelu Lukaku up front, sending Alexis Sanchez to the substitute’s bench, whilst midfielder Nicolo Barella returns from suspension to replace Stefano Sensi.
With Ivan Perisic still not fully recovered from a muscular injury, Matteo Darmian is the favourite to occupy the left wing-back role ahead of Ashley Young, despite the Englishman starting the last three games there.
Conte almost has a full squad to choose from, with Arturo Vidal and Aleksandar Kolarov the only absentees through injury and they remain a doubt for Wednesday’s trip to Spezia.
