Inter centre-back Stefan De Vrij took to Social Media to emphasise the importance of their 1-0 victory over Hellas Verona in Serie A yesterday.
The Netherlands international started at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza as Matteo Darmian’s second half goal earned a 13th consecutive home win, moving Inter to within six points of a first Scudetto since 2010.
Uploading a photo of himself challenging Verona striker Kevin Lasagna in an Instagram post, the former Lazio defender added the caption: “Another step towards our goal.”
