Inter’s players finally got their revenge on Antonio Conte on Wednesday after an exhausting season of work.
The Nerazzurri were reunited as champions for the first time since securing the scudetto last weekend, with wild celebrations at Appiano Gentile.
Conte has been a hard taskmaster throughout the season but it all paid off as Inter clinched their 19th league title on Sunday.
His players celebrated by giving their coach the ‘bumps’, with Inter writing on Instagram: “After months and months and months of running and hard graft… it’s time for a little ‘payback’.
“Isn’t that right, gaffer?”
