Antonio Conte could finally get the chance to speak with Inter president Steven Zhang tomorrow, according to a report in the Italian media.

FcInter1908.it said there was still no certainty over when the parties would meet to discuss Conte’s future at the club, following yesterday’s Serie A title party.

Zhang was present at Inter’s club offices in Milan earlier, along with the Nerazzurri’s directors, but they have not met Conte yet.

Conte’s future is the first issue Inter must sort before they can begin planning properly for next season.

Conte is widely expected to be seeking reassurance from Inter’s owners Suning about the club’s plans for next season and beyond.

Zhang will need to find a way of convincing Conte that Inter are still ambitious about building on this season’s Serie A title, despite the Nerazzurri’s serious economic problems.

Inter finished their campaign in style yesterday with a 5-1 thrashing against Udinese at San Siro.
