Alessandro Bastoni thanked Inter’s fans on Monday for their incredible support as a remarkable Serie A season came to an end.
Inter became champions for the first time since 2010 and they signed off in style on Sunday, thrashing Udinese 5-1 at San Siro.
Bastoni has become a key player for Antonio Conte’s side and helped Inter end the campaign with the league’s best defensive record.
The centre-back posted an emotional message on Instagram, in which he said: “An extraordinary season ends!
“I’m proud to be part of this magnificent group, thanks to everyone’s hard work we’ve reached this fantastic result!
“I’d like to thank everyone who made it possible for this dream to come true!
“Thanks to the coach and all his staff, thanks to my teammates and thanks to those who work for the team behind the scenes every day.
“Lastly, a special thanks to you Nerazzurri fans, thank you for always being close to us and thank you for making this a unique moment.”
