Alessandro Bastoni was one of many Inter players on Thursday to pay tribute to Antonio Conte, after he left the club by mutual consent.

Inter announced Conte’s departure on Wednesday night after two seasons in charge, in which he led the Nerazzurri to their first Serie A title in 11 years.

Simone Inzaghi is expected to replace Conte, having opted against signing a new deal at Lazio, with an official announcement due today.

Bastoni posted on Instagram: “You believed in me from day one.

“You developed me both on and off the pitch, helping me fulfill what was always my dream, playing and winning with the shirt I love.

“For this, I can do nothing but say thank you for these two magnificent years.

“Good luck.”
