Ahead of his formal announcement as the new Inter coach, Simone Inzaghi has settled on the staff he wants to bring with him.
As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Tuttosport, the former Lazio coach is expected to replace Antonio Conte at the helm of the Nerazzurri and his appointment is imminent.
Inzaghi is set to overhaul the backroom staff at the club and is keen to bring his own people in, with Inter ready to accommodate the changes after receiving his requests.
Assistant coach Massimiliano Farris and technical assistant Mario Cecchi will follow him from Rome, whilst Inzaghi will also be joined by training coach Fabio Ripert.
Discussions are ongoing for the appointments of tactical assistants Enrico Allavena, Ferruccio Cerasaro, and Riccardo Rocchini meanwhile.
It is expected that only two members of the coaching staff involved under Conte will remain at the club, as goalkeeping coach Adriano Bonaiuti and nutritionist Matteo Pincella will serve under Inzaghi.
