Inter will tell newly crowned Champions League champions Chelsea that Belgian international striker Romelu Lukaku is not for sale, should the Blues come calling for him.
This according to Italian media agency ANSA via FcInter1908 who report that an offer from Chelsea could arrive in the coming hours but it wont matter as the Nerazzurri will simply turn it down as Lukaku is not for sale.
Lukaku, who despite spending three years on the books at Chelsea only featured 15 times across all competitions failing to score due to being loaned out, has been heavily linked with a move back to the Blues recently.
However, several reports in Italy these last few days have stated that soon to be unveiled coach Simone Inzaghi has phoned Lukaku recently to express how important the Belgian is to the former Lazio coach’s Nerazzurri plans.
The former Everton striker joined Inter ahead of the 2019/2020 season for a reported club record transfer of €80 million.
