The sales of two Inter players that will help fix the financial situation at the club have slowed down over the past few days, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by the print edition of Tuttosport, Inter have no intention of renewing the contract that Croatian winger Ivan Perisic currently has. It runs out in 2022 and he earns almost €4.5 million per year. Inter need to reduce the wage budget by 15% and Ivan Perisic is not in Simone Inzaghi’ plans.

Inter’s problem though is that no club has displayed any concrete interest in the player so far. Achraf Hakimi is another player that the club are not selling as quickly as they’d like.

Paris Saint Germain and Chelsea are both very interested in the Moroccan right-back, but Inter’s €80 million asking price has not yet been met. Paris Saint Germain have bid €60 million plus bonuses, but are yet to up their offer.
