Inter have been recently credited with an interest in 25-year-old Colmbian striker Rafael Santos Borre, and could acquire him without a transfer fee thanks to his contract situation.

This is the report of Argentine newspape Ole, who claim that incoming Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has given his approval to the club to try and make Borre a part of the Nerazzurri’s attack for next season, and that the player’s contract is set to expire on June 30.

Inter are thought to be seeking a signing in forward areas, either as backup to or as a replacement for Argentine Lautaro Martinez, and Borre has emerged as a possibility who would be a good fit.

The signing of the player would be especially attractive if he can be signed when out of contract, given the financial objectives at Inter this summer.

Inter are not, however, the only clubs thought to be monitoring the player, and it remains to be seen how serious the club are in their pursuit.
