Inter are in talks to bring in Sassolo striker Giacomo Rapadori this summer, with the 22-year-old thought to be a major attacking target for the Nerazzurri.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that Inter CEO Beppe Marotta is staying with the situation and in regular contact with the Neroverdi about the potential sale of the player.

Marotta will reportedly visit Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevalli on Tuesday with the summer market set to officially open, and he is expected to reiterate the Nerazzurri’s interest in the player.

Inter’s immediate priority is bringing in money through sales, but with the departure of Achraf Hakimi to PSG expected before the end of the month the club will turn their attention to new arrivals.

Raspadori is a player who the Nerazzurri consider to be very exciting and would like to bring in, whether as a backup option or a starter in the immediate future.

Marotta is thought to hope to put Inter in a good position with Carnevalli to strike a deal for the player later on in this transfer window, with the Inter CEO thought to be including the possibility of young players from Inter going the other way as part of negotiations.
