Stefano Sensi could leave Inter for next season, with the player reportedly a target of incoming Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Italiano.
This according to Italian news outlet gazzetta.it, who report that the 25-year-old is admired by the new Fiorentina boss who would like to reinforce La Viola’s midfield options in the transfer window.
Sensi’s future at the Giuseppe Meazza has been unclear, and Fiorentina are a club linked with a strong interest in the player either on loan or on a permanent basis, although the Tuscan club’s overall situation has been unclear since the sudden departure of Gennaro Gattuso as manager after less than three weeks in charge.
However, the club look set to appoint Spezia head coach Vincenzo Italiano as their manager ahead of next season, and the new boss is ready to start reshaping the squad to his specifications.
It is thought that one of the coach’s first demands is that the club pursue Sensi, a priority option to strengthen the team in midfield.
As of yet no concrete progress has materialized that would see Sensi leave the Nerazzurri, but developments can be expected as Italiano is confirmed at La Viola.
