Inter will not offer winger Ivan Perisic a contract extension this summer, with the 32-year-old’s deal set to run out in June 2022.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the club wish to move the Croatian on this summer.

Perisic’s wages are currently around €5 million net per season, and the Nerazzurri are hoping that a buyer can be found this summer in order to avoid paying the player’s salary for next season.

However, even if the player is not moved on in the summer, the club will still not offer an extension beyond 2022 for the Croatian.

The player, for his part, is thought to be happy to remain at the Giuseppe Meazza for one more season and then leave on a free transfer next summer, should it come to that.

Perisic joined Inter in the summer of 2015, making 205 appearances and scoring 45 goals in all competitions for the club since his arrival.
