Inter have put an asking price in excess of €50 million on Slovak defender Milan Skriniar in discussions with English club Tottenham Hotspur.

This according to English tabloid the Express, who report that Tottenham sporting director Fabio Paratici has been given a valuation of €51.5 million when acquiring about the player.

The 26-year-old is not thought to be a player who the Nerazzurri are currently considering selling, though there is a possibility that the club could waver should a significant enough offer arrive.

Tottenham are thought to be in the hunt for a defender, and have targeted Skriniar in the past, and the English club made contact over the player’s availability.

The Nerazzurri made clear that the player will not leave the Giuseppe Meazza for a fee lower than their valuation, and it is also thought that the club are only interested in a cash offer for the player and would not be willing to make a deal which involves a swap for any players from Tottenham.
