Inter transfer target Andre Onana could be about to seal a move to Ligue 1 side Lyon instead, according to a report in the French media today.

As has been reported by the famous French newspaper L’Equipe, the Ajax goalkeeper currently looks much more likely to sign for Lyon than Inter.

The player is currently serving a nine-month ban from all footballing activity for a doping violation, and he still has four months left to serve of the ban. Ajax are willing to listen to offers for the player now, and it is thought a deal could be struck for as little as €8 million.

Inter are trying to work out who should be the long-term replacement for veteran goalkeeper Samir Handanovic who is likely heading into his final season as Inter’s number one choice between the sticks.

Ajax are happy to sell because they risk losing him on a free transfer next summer.
