Inter are the first-choice destination for Arsenal right-back should the 26-year-old leave his current club, with the Nerazzurri interested in the player.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the English side would potentially be open to letting the player leave on loan this summer.

With Hakimi having officially departed for Paris Saint-Germain, the Nerazzurri have placed finding a right-sided player to replace the Moroccan on their agenda, with Bellerin’s name thought to be close to the top of their list.

The club are thought to want to bring the player in on loan with an option to buy for budgetary reasons, and in talks the Gunners have expressed that they would be amenable to an agreement that would see the Spaniard arrive at Inter on loan initially with an obligation to buy him on a permanent basis later.

The Nerazzurri for their part are thought to currently be asking that a loan deal for the player only include the option to buy, with no obligation, and it remains to be seen if the two clubs can arrive at an agreement.

Should they do so, however, it appears that the player would be happy to make the move to the Giuseppe Meazza, which is his preferred destination.
