Inter have blocked Sassuolo’s Italian international striker Giacomo Raspadori, with the 21-year-old a clear target for the future.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri hope that the player can be signed as a long-term attacking option.

Raspadori’s name has been linked to Inter as a target in the window, with the player thought to be top of the club’s list as a replacement for Lautaro Martinez should the Argentine depart, as well as a possible replacement for Alexis Sanchez if he is sold.

However, even if he is not brought in this summer to directly replace any outgoing Nerazzurri players, the Italian is still a player in the Nerazzurri’s plans.

The idea at the Nerazzurri is clear, and they are continually tracking Raspadori, with a move for the player on the agenda whether it comes this summer or later.
