New Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi is looking forward to overseeing Inter going forward as the club prepare to start official preparations for next season.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Italian is set to be formally unveiled tomorrow, and will then get his first interaction with the Nerazzurri squad on Thursday.

The schedule will have the Italian manager meeting with his new staff today, before going to dinner and watching the Euro semi-final between Italy and Spain, and then being officially introduced as manager at a press conference by the club set for 1:00 PM at the San Siro tomorrow.

After that, the tactician will be excited to really get to work as the pre-season training camp commences Thursday at training compound Appiano Gentile.

The young manager has no experience outside of Lazio prior to his new adventure with Inter, having been in charge at various levels of the Biancocelesti’s youth sector before five years in charge of the Lazio first team.

However, his work has still impressed so far and it is thought that there is clear evidence that the Italian will be a strong successor to the departed Antonio Conte on a tactical level.

The task ahead for Inzaghi is to observe and evaluate the squad, figuring out which players are important in his plans, and looking to ensure that the correct balance is achieved in the squad, with incomings expected in the market while Achraf Hakimi is already gone and other exits are expected.
