PSV’s Denzel Dumfries is the top target at Inter to replace Achraf Hakimi, with the Moroccan’s departure for Paris Saint-Germain.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Dutchman is thought to be Hakimi’s ideal heir at the Nerazzurri,

With Hakimi gone, it is thought that the acquisition of a right-sided player capable of replacing him is a priority in the summer transfer market for the Nerazzurri.

Numerous names have been linked already, but according to the Corriere, Dumfries is the option that the club would most like to sign.

Just behind Dumfries on Inter’s list are Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin and Chelsea’s Zappacosta, the latter of whom spent last season on loan at Genoa, and either could be signed should Dumfries’s arrival prove infeasible.

Moreover, it is thought that Bellerin and Zappacosta are not the only players currently in the English Premier League that the Nerazzurri are considering as Hakimi replacements.
